How to ‘Print Selection’ in Outlook…

Printing only a text part from an email is a pretty common action. Sometimes, you only need some text bits and you aren’t going to print a potentially long email conversation only to obtain the desired text part on paper. But, as you probably discovered, the latest versions of Outlook simply don’t offer you the ability to print only selected text. You can choose to print the entire message (including the email headers) or you can choose to print emails as an Inbox table – but not only selected text.

We’re not sure why Microsoft decided to scrap this feature, but we surely know that many of you asked us about it… So, Bells & Whistles, our great productivity add-in for Outlook, lets you easily print a text selection directly from Outlook.

Printing a text selection with Bells & Whistles is so straight forward that we can’t even write too much about it… just install Bells & Whistles, restart Outlook, make your text selection when viewing the email as regular and click on the Print Selection button displayed on the Bells & Whistles Outlook toolbar.

And that’s it! 🙂
